I love life. And I love my life. It’s a modern fairytale. Occasionally it’s scary as hell: a white knuckle roller-coaster ride and then it can be fabulous fun. In-between these extremes it can be mundane and ordinary sometimes. I love writing because this allows me to develop flights of fancy or record important events that affect my life.

#Smallstones 2012
Each day during January 2012 I will focus on a small 'thing’(something I heard or saw or felt or tasted) and then write about it as best I can.
Jan 1
On waking silence surrounds me until I focus. The soft pitter patter of rain impacts the ground, a reassuring & delightful sound #smallstone
Jan 2
Robin redbreast lands, light-footed he scours my patio searching for sweet offerings, when his mate emerges & joins the hunt #smallstone
If you were wondering what is 'a River of Stones?' is & want to join in - "How to write small stones" on Writing Our Way Home: http://ow.ly/8fKxY (you'll need to cut & paste this link as for the life of me I can not get it to attach & appear here despite valiant efforts!)

I have been having so much fun writing small stones that I just might continue writing them long after this challenge is done. I like how precise your stones are (you say a lot in only a few words.)
